Admittedly, works by Chen Huan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Talking In The Mountain in April this year with an auction result of HKD 114,000.00 (€ 116,416.30).

Die Arbeit Visiting Friends On A Snowy Day von Chen Huan kam im September 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.317,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Huan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Talking In The Mountain im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 114.000,00 (€ 116.416,30).
