Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Bonhams held the auction Asian Art, which included the work Rooster by Chen Dayu. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 2,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 2,214.00 (€ 1,408.33). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Dayu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rooster By Wisteria ; Calligraphy Couplet in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 590,000.00 (€ 60,742.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rooster von Chen Dayu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 2.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 2.214,00 (€ 1.408,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Dayu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rooster By Wisteria ; Calligraphy Couplet im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 590.000,00 (€ 60.742,22).
