Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Pomegranate by Chen Dayu. It changed hands for a price of HKD 69,600.00 (€ 8,416.81) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Dayu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rooster By Wisteria ; Calligraphy Couplet in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 590,000.00 (€ 60,742.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pomegranate von Chen Dayu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 69.600,00 (€ 8.416,81) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Dayu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rooster By Wisteria ; Calligraphy Couplet im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 590.000,00 (€ 60.742,22).
