Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Single Bed by Charlotte Perriand was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,716.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 170,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charlotte Perriand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Important “Bibliotheque Murale,” in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 254,264.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Single Bed von Charlotte Perriand kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.716,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 170.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charlotte Perriand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Important “Bibliotheque Murale,” im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 254.264,69).
