It achieved a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,279.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charlotte Perriand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Important “Bibliotheque Murale,” in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 254,264.69).

Die Arbeit Wall-mounted shelf von Charlotte Perriand kam im September 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.279,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charlotte Perriand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Important “Bibliotheque Murale,” im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 254.264,69).
