Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Set of five wall lights, model no. CP1 by Charlotte Perriand was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2017. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,290.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charlotte Perriand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Important “Bibliotheque Murale,” in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 254,264.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Set of five wall lights, model no. CP1 von Charlotte Perriand kam im September 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.290,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charlotte Perriand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Important “Bibliotheque Murale,” im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 254.264,69).
