Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work J.O. Branding by Charlie Dye was auctioned at Christies in Beverly Hills in October 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 37,500.00 (€ 29,569.47). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charlie Dye - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work First One in Town, which sold at auction in February 2019 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 76,896.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit J.O. Branding von Charlie Dye kam im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in Beverly Hills zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 37.500,00 (€ 29.569,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Charlie Dye mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit First One in Town beobachtet, die im Februar 2019 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 76.896,04) versteigert wurde.
