Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Naissance Soleil by Charley Case was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 875.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Charley Case have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ana se baigne dans la mer morte in October 2016 with an auction result of EUR 4,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Naissance Soleil von Charley Case kam im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 875,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charley Case auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ana se baigne dans la mer morte im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.000,00.
