Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les Larmes d'Ana by Charley Case was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October 2016. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,375.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charley Case - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ana se baigne dans la mer morte, which sold at auction in October 2016 for EUR 4,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les Larmes d'Ana von Charley Case kam im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.375,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Charley Case mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ana se baigne dans la mer morte beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für EUR 4.000,00 versteigert wurde.
