Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work The path to the moor by Charles Thomas Burt for GBP 375.00 (€ 393.86). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Thomas Burt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On the moors in March last year with an auction result of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,534.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The path to the moor von Charles Thomas Burt für GBP 375,00 (€ 393,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Thomas Burt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit On the moors im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.534,97).
