Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam, which included the work Vanishing Point by Charles Sandison. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,528.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Sandison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mille neuf cent onze in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vanishing Point von Charles Sandison zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.528,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Sandison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mille neuf cent onze im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
