Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Chasse au faucon; An elegant company during a falcon hunt by Charles Rochussen for EUR 8,365.00. This price was achieved in the auction NINETEENTH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 9,000.00 – 14,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Charles Rochussen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2003 by the work Stadholder William III inspecting the troups at Hinderschans at EUR 10,755.00.

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion NINETEENTH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 9.000,00 – 14.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Charles Rochussen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2003 die Arbeit Stadholder William III inspecting the troups at Hinderschans mit EUR 10.755,00.
