In May 2012 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Art, which included the work Queen Victoria's and Prince Albert's visit to Rothesay on 17th August 1847 on board the R.Y. Fairy by Charles Pettitt. The result of GBP 400.00 (€ 498.38) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00.
