In the THE SCOTTISH SALE auction, the work Kirkcudbright sold for GBP 11,352.50 (€ 17,957.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Oppenheimer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Piazzetta Venice, which sold at auction in September 2010 for GBP 49,250.00 (€ 56,962.85).

In der Auktion THE SCOTTISH SALE wurde die Arbeit Kirkcudbright für GBP 11.352,50 (€ 17.957,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Oppenheimer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Piazzetta Venice beobachtet, die im September 2010 für GBP 49.250,00 (€ 56.962,85) versteigert wurde.
