Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Sceaux, Vue Des Hauteurs D'Aulnay by Charles Marville for EUR 4,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Important European Collection at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Marville achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Paris: La Bièvre Entre Les Rues Pascal Et Cochin' in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,161.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sceaux, Vue Des Hauteurs D'Aulnay von Charles Marville für EUR 4.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important European Collection bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Marville erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Paris: La Bièvre Entre Les Rues Pascal Et Cochin' im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 103.000,00 (€ 66.161,36).
