Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,065.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Charles Leslie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures resting by a lake with cattle watering in a mountainous landscape in September 2001 with an auction result of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 6,070.79).
