In July 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Day Sale including Old Master Paintings, Drawings and British Works on Paper, which included the work Aquilon Blowing Cold Air At Demogorgon by Charles Le Brun. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,251.27), 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Charles Le Brun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Head of a boy in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 204,000.00 (€ 149,341.14).

Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Day Sale including Old Master Paintings, Drawings and British Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aquilon Blowing Cold Air At Demogorgon von Charles Le Brun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.251,27) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Le Brun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Head of a boy im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 204.000,00 (€ 149.341,14).
