It achieved a price of GBP 4,935.00 (€ 7,853.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. Admittedly, works by Charles James Theriat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work American Playing The Derbakeh, Biskra in March 2009 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,704.55).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.935,00 (€ 7.853,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles James Theriat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit American Playing The Derbakeh, Biskra im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 37.704,55).
