Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 22,750.00 (€ 26,469.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Leickert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work At the 'koek en zopie' in a panoramic winter landscape in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 132,250.00.

Die Arbeit A Winter'S Day At Vaarberg von Charles Leickert wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.750,00 (€ 26.469,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
