In June 2015 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale, London, which included the work The Café Royal by Charles Ginner. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 68,500.00 (€ 96,584.14), 37% above the upper estimate. Other works by Charles Ginner have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 97,737.26) in December 2012 for the work A Corner in Chelsea.
