Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Charles Ginner could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Post-War British Art auction, the work Saltdean Valley changed hands for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,899.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Ginner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Corner in Chelsea in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 97,737.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Ginner konnte im November 2016 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art wechselte die Arbeit Saltdean Valley für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.899,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Ginner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Corner in Chelsea im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 97.737,26).
