Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Spotted Sow; To the Slaughter by Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 956.25 (€ 1,141.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Magnani Modena Pigeon (illustrated); Two Starling Pigeons (one illustrated); A Swabian or Starling Pigeon; and A Swabian Pigeon in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 13,145.00 (€ 19,563.70).

Die Arbeit The Spotted Sow; To the Slaughter von Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 956,25 (€ 1.141,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Frederick Tunnicliffe erzielen.
