Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Parisian Quay-Side by Charles Ernest Cundall was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in October 2012. The price achieved of GBP 812.50 (€ 1,010.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Ernest Cundall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Cup Tie At Crystal Palace, Corinthians V Manchester City in December this year with an auction result of GBP 127,400.00 (€ 146,759.92).
