In the Two Centuries: American Art auction, the work Old Inn at Gardenville sold for USD 27,720.00 (€ 23,995.84) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Ephraim Burchfield achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cherry Blossom Snow in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,812,500.00 (€ 1,553,127.68).
