In the Modern American Art auction, the work Haunted Twilight sold for USD 655,200.00 (€ 593,478.26) - well above the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Ephraim Burchfield - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cherry Blossom Snow, which sold at auction in May 2018 for USD 1,812,500.00 (€ 1,553,127.68).

In der Auktion Modern American Art wurde die Arbeit Haunted Twilight für USD 655.200,00 (€ 593.478,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Ephraim Burchfield mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cherry Blossom Snow beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für USD 1.812.500,00 (€ 1.553.127,68) versteigert wurde.
