Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Christies in London held the auction British & European Art: Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, which included the work The Archer by Charles Edward Hallé. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 35,682.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Charles Edward Hallé have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2011 the work Luna was auctioned for GBP 46,850.00 (€ 56,109.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion British & European Art: Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Archer von Charles Edward Hallé zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 35.682,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Charles Edward Hallé konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2011 die Arbeit Luna für GBP 46.850,00 (€ 56.109,49) versteigert.
