Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Venus And Cupid, Circa 1705 by Charles Boit was sold in the Part I auction at Sothebys in London in December 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,963.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Boit achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Peter The Great, Emperor Of Russia (1672-1723) in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 105,747.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Venus And Cupid, Circa 1705 von Charles Boit wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Part I bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.963,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Boit erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Peter The Great, Emperor Of Russia (1672-1723) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 105.747,15).
