The work Portrait Of A Gentleman, Circa 1710 by Charles Boit was worth GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,296.18) to a buyer in December 2019. This price was achieved in the auction The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures, Part III at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Charles Boit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Peter The Great, Emperor Of Russia (1672-1723) in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 105,747.15).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Gentleman, Circa 1710 von Charles Boit war einem Käufer im Dezember 2019 GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.296,18) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures, Part III bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Boit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Peter The Great, Emperor Of Russia (1672-1723) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 105.747,15).
