Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pieta by Chaouki Choukini was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,029.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chaouki Choukini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work To Beirut - A Beyrouth - Li Bayrût in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 60,312.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pieta von Chaouki Choukini kam im April 2008 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.029,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chaouki Choukini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit To Beirut - A Beyrouth - Li Bayrût im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 60.312,50.
