Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dulle Griet, Hommage A Bruegel, 2001 by Chaouki Choukini was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in November 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,375.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Chaouki Choukini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work To Beirut - A Beyrouth - Li Bayrût in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 60,312.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dulle Griet, Hommage A Bruegel, 2001 von Chaouki Choukini kam im November 2009 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.375,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chaouki Choukini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit To Beirut - A Beyrouth - Li Bayrût im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 60.312,50.
