The work Love Birds by Chao Chung-Hsiang was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 31,127.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chao Chung-Hsiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Phases in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 5,840,000.00 (€ 657,963.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 64 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Love Birds von Chao Chung-Hsiang kam im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 31.127,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chao Chung-Hsiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Phases im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.840.000,00 (€ 657.963,46).
