Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Brightness Inside And Outside(Painted In 1991) by Chao Chung-Hsiang was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 590,000.00 (€ 66,945.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 500,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chao Chung-Hsiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Five Phases in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 5,840,000.00 (€ 657,963.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Brightness Inside And Outside(Painted In 1991) von Chao Chung-Hsiang wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 590.000,00 (€ 66.945,14) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 500.000,00 – 600.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chao Chung-Hsiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Five Phases im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.840.000,00 (€ 657.963,46).
