In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Pop x Culture, which included the work The Clash NME Cover Day Triptych, 1977, printed later by Chalkie Davies. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,646.67), 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chalkie Davies - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Ramones, Back Door To CBGB's, 1977, printed later, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,490.91).

Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Pop x Culture durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Clash NME Cover Day Triptych, 1977, printed later von Chalkie Davies zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.646,67) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Chalkie Davies mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Ramones, Back Door To CBGB's, 1977, printed later beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.490,91) versteigert wurde.
