Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work Ritratto Di Enrico Petiti Adolescente by Cesare Tallone. The price achieved of EUR 3,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Cesare Tallone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ponte Di Nossa in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 14,650.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ritratto Di Enrico Petiti Adolescente von Cesare Tallone zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.120,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cesare Tallone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ponte Di Nossa im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.650,00.
