The work Piccolo torrente by Cesare Tallone was sold in the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction at Il Ponte in October 2014. The result of EUR 1,800.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,800.00 – 1,900.00. Admittedly, works by Cesare Tallone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ponte Di Nossa in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 14,650.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Piccolo torrente von Cesare Tallone wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.800,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 1.900,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cesare Tallone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ponte Di Nossa im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.650,00.
