Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work 'Porto Valtravaglia' by Cesare Gheduzzi was auctioned at Christies in Rome in November 2005, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,860.00. Admittedly, works by Cesare Gheduzzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sulla Spiaggia A Novi Ligure in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 12,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit 'Porto Valtravaglia' von Cesare Gheduzzi im November 2005 bei Christies in Rom versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.860,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cesare Gheduzzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sulla Spiaggia A Novi Ligure im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.250,00.
