The work Invasion by Cesare Dell'Acqua was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in December 2004. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 17,925.00 (€ 25,368.81), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Dell'Acqua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italianan Ottoman Beauty in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 405,000.00 (€ 461,251.86).

Die Arbeit Invasion von Cesare Dell'Acqua wurde im Dezember 2004 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 17.925,00 (€ 25.368,81) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Dell'Acqua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italianan Ottoman Beauty im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 405.000,00 (€ 461.251,86).
