Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Italian The Yaylý Tanbur Player by Cesare Dell'Acqua. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,647.85), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Dell'Acqua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italianan Ottoman Beauty in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 405,000.00 (€ 461,251.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian The Yaylý Tanbur Player von Cesare Dell'Acqua zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.647,85) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Dell'Acqua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italianan Ottoman Beauty im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 405.000,00 (€ 461.251,86).
