In March this year Phillips held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, which included the work SILENCE by Cerith Wyn Evans. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,795.00 (€ 9,929.18), 54% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cerith Wyn Evans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Inverse Reverse Perverse in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 176,400.00 (€ 150,217.15).

Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit SILENCE von Cerith Wyn Evans zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.795,00 (€ 9.929,18) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cerith Wyn Evans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Inverse Reverse Perverse im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 176.400,00 (€ 150.217,15).
