Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2, which included the work Landscape by Cen Xuegong. The price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,819.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cen Xuegong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Misty Sunset, which sold at auction in December 2015 for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,819.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Cen Xuegong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.819,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Cen Xuegong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Misty Sunset beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.819,32) versteigert wurde.
