Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An assortment of white flowers in a stone urn by Cecil Kennedy was sold in the European Fine Living auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in May last year. It achieved a price of USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,703.10), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecil Kennedy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 80,750.00 (€ 127,998.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An assortment of white flowers in a stone urn von Cecil Kennedy wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion European Fine Living bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.120,00 (€ 5.703,10) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecil Kennedy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Summer im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.750,00 (€ 127.998,69).
