In September 2021 Christies held the auction An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection, which included the work The Track Boat by Cecil Gordon Lawson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,308.95), 41% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Cecil Gordon Lawson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cheyne Walk, London in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,640.81).

Im September 2021 führte Christies die Auktion An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Track Boat von Cecil Gordon Lawson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.308,95) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cecil Gordon Lawson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cheyne Walk, London im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.640,81).
