In September 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The Decorative Arts Sale, which included the work Fruit, a nest and game on a forest floor by Cecil Gordon Lawson. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 687.50 72% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecil Gordon Lawson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cheyne Walk, London in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,640.81).

Im September 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The Decorative Arts Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fruit, a nest and game on a forest floor von Cecil Gordon Lawson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 687,50 und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecil Gordon Lawson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cheyne Walk, London im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.640,81).
