In November 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Everlasting Flowers; And Roses In A Glass by Catherine M. Wood. The result of GBP 600.00 (€ 881.48) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Catherine M. Wood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn berries, which sold at auction in November 2001 for GBP 1,410.00 (€ 2,243.75).

Im November 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Everlasting Flowers; And Roses In A Glass von Catherine M. Wood zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 600,00 (€ 881,48) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Catherine M. Wood mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn berries beobachtet, die im November 2001 für GBP 1.410,00 (€ 2.243,75) versteigert wurde.
