Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Lighting by Catherine Lee for USD 600.00 (€ 470.07). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Catherine Lee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Listening Warrior" in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 14,131.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lighting von Catherine Lee für USD 600,00 (€ 470,07) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Catherine Lee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Listening Warrior" im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.131,00.
