Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Desayuno by Caroline Walker was worth GBP 77,500.00 (€ 89,822.68) to a buyer in February 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Caroline Walker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Threshold in March this year with an auction result of GBP 927,100.00 (€ 1,054,755.33).
