Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July this year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art, which included the work Prism by Caroline Absher. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,700.00 (€ 11,524.50). Other works by Caroline Absher have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 22,860.00 (€ 21,598.64) in September this year for the work Ego, Heart.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Prism von Caroline Absher zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.700,00 (€ 11.524,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Caroline Absher haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.860,00 (€ 21.598,64) im September diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Ego, Heart beobachtet.
