A top price for Carole Benzaken - as previously expected
In April 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art 2, which included the work Autoroute Avec Camion by Carole Benzaken. The price achieved of EUR 1,850.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Autoroute Avec Camion is the most expensive artwork by Carole Benzaken that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autoroute Avec Camion von Carole Benzaken zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.850,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Autoroute Avec Camion das teuerste Kunstwerk von Carole Benzaken, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
