Despite a disappointment, a good price for Carmen Winant
When this work without title by Carmen Winant was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,032.55). Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Carmen Winant that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Carmen Winant
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Carmen Winant im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.032,55) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Carmen Winant, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
