Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Stanzas by Carmen Herrera. The price achieved of GBP 315,000.00 (€ 365,940.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 280,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carmen Herrera have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blanco Y Verde in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 2,900,000.00 (€ 2,582,828.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stanzas von Carmen Herrera zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 315.000,00 (€ 365.940,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 280.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carmen Herrera auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blanco Y Verde im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.900.000,00 (€ 2.582.828,64).
